Dad just loves my beef stew! I have a secret to thickening my stew. This time thought it would be nice serving this to Dad in a skillet.

1 lbpork chops bone in

4 cbeef stock

2 cvegetable stock

1 ccola
-
2 cwater

2 Tbspsalt

1 Tbsppepper

2celery stalk cut

3carrots, cubed

1 smshallots cut

2garlic cloves

115oz can crushed tomatoes

2 lgpotatoes cubed

3 cvegetables of choice used fresh corn and greenbeens

1/4 cpotato mix (for thickening)
- BISCUITS

homemade or store bought

dried rosemary
-
garlic powder
-
melted butter
How To Make pork-n-beef crockpot to skillet stew w/biscuits

1Put first 12 ingredients in crockpot, set on low. Slow cook for four hours. Remove bone from pork and discard, chopping pork and returning to crockpot.

2Next add rest of ingredients. Continue to slow cook for another 4 hours. Check for seasoning.

3To serve I put in small cast iron skillet with 3 biscuits brush with melted butter and sprinkled with garlic and rosemary. Baked in 400 degree oven for 5-7 min. Till golden brown. Serve in skillet.
