Ingredients For poppy seed chicken casserole

  • 1 pkg
    fried rice rice-a - roni
  • 4 c
    shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 36
    buttery crackers such as ritz crushed
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter melted
  • 2 Tbsp
    poppy seeds

How To Make poppy seed chicken casserole

  • 1
    Preheat oven 375 degrees. Cook the rice-a-roni according to package directions.Place it in the bottom of a sprayed baking pan.

    In a bowl mix the chicken, sour cream, and cream of chicken soup together. Place on top of the rice in baking pan.

    Add the cheddar cheese over the chicken mixture.

    In a bowl melt the butter and stir in the crackers. Place cracker on top of the cheese layer. Sprinkle with Poppy seeds

    Bake for 30 minutes and serve.
