Got this recipe from Lodge cook book. Made a few changs to the recipe. Witch now I call mine. great for camping.

Ingredients For pistol rock chiken

1chicken, whole,cut up & skinned.

salt and pepper,to taste
-
1/2 Tbspgarlic powder
-
1/2 call purpose flour
-
3 can14-1/2 oz of pasta sauce

8 slicebacon
-
2 lgcans mushrooms
-
tspolive oil
How To Make pistol rock chiken

1In a large zip-lock bag put chicken (pat dry first) pieces,flour,salt,pepper,and garicl powder. Seal and shake to mix well In a large dutch oven cook bacon till chrisp. Remove from oven,and set a side. Drain all dippings but 2 teaspoons.

2To the oven add olive oil. Add chicken,and brown on all sides. Pour in 3cans of pasta sause,2 cans of mushrooms,and crumbled bacon. Spread over chicken. Simmer untill sause thickens,abought 1-1 &1/2 hours. Serve over rice or pasta.
