This is one of my husbands favorite dishes I make. The garlic cream sauce really makes this dish stand out! Calories: 470 Fat: 14 grams Carbs: 13 grams.

Ingredients For penne w/ chicken in garlic cream sauce

4bonelss, skinless chicken breasts, pounded thin

1/4 tspsalt

1/8 tsppepper
-
8 ozdried dreamfields penne rigate pasta

1 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin
-
1 lgzucchini, halved lengthwise and sliced
-
2 cfresh mushrooms, sliced.

3 tspminced garlic in olive oil, jarred.

1 creduced-sodium chicken broth
-
1 Tbspflour
-
4 ozlight cream cheese, softened.
-
1/4 cdried tomatoes, chopped.
-
1 Tbspdried parsley
-
2 Tbspgrated romano cheese.
How To Make penne w/ chicken in garlic cream sauce

1Sprinkle chicken w/ salt & pepper. Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray. Place skillet over med-high heat. Cook chicken until no longer pink inside, about 5 min per side. Remove chicken from pan. Cook pasta, drain, keep warm. Heat oil in skillet, place over medium heat. Cook zucchini, mushrooms and garlic for 5 min, stirring occasionally. Add veggies to pasta. In small bowl, whisk together broth and flour until smooth. Add flour mix to skillet. Add cream cheese to skillet and whisk until smooth. Cook 1 min. Stir in dried tomatoes. Add mix to pasta and veggies. Sprinkle w/ parsley and cheese.
