Ingredients For penne pasta with chicken & asiago cream sauce

1 pkgpenne pasta

3/4 cheavy cream

2boneless chicken breasts, cut into cubes

4-5piece of bacon, roughly chopped

1 casiago cheese, grated
-
1 conion, chopped
-
2 clovegarlic, roughly chopped
-
1 candiced tomatoes (approx 15 oz, but add more if you like more tomatoes)

1 Tbspbasil, dried
-
1 Tbspparsley flakes
-
1 Tbsporegano, dried
-
3 tspsugar
-
1/4 tsppepper
-
2 Tbspbutter
-
2 Tbspolive oil
How To Make penne pasta with chicken & asiago cream sauce

1Cook pasta noodles according to instructions. Strain and set aside in a large bowl.

2Heat oil in large skillet. Add chicken and cook until done. Place in bowl and set aside.

3Heat butter in same large skillet. Add bacon, onion and garlic. Saute for approximately 5 minutes. Remove and add to pasta bowl.

4Add the tomatoes (with liquid), oregano, basil, sugar and pepper.

5Cook over medium-lo heat until liquid slightly reduces. Add cream and chicken, and cook another 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6Add cheese and stir until melted.

7Pour the sauce mixture over the pasta and toss well. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
