party chicken wings!

These wings were served at a dear friend's party over 25 years ago! I asked for the recipe, and she was kind enough to share. She actually served the whole wing. I like to section the wing and remove the wing tip... I think it makes it easier to eat! So I'm still serving up these wings to family and friends, even after 25 years! They are that good!

Ingredients For party chicken wings!

  • 1/3 c
    lemon juice
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1/4 c
    vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    liquid smoke flavoring
  • 3 to 4
    pounds of chicken wings

How To Make party chicken wings!

    In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the chicken wings. Mix well, add the wings.

    Cover and refrigerate over night.

    Line a cookie sheet pan with heavy foil. This makes for an easy clean up.

    Arrange the wings in the pan. Bake at 400 degrees, for 45 minutes. Baste occasionally with marinade.
