Ingredients For parmesan chicken

  • 1/2 tsp
    each dried thyme, garlic powder,fresh black pepper, salt, dried basil, ginger, 1 tblsp worchestire sauce add enough vegetable oil to marinate the chicken breasts in a zip lock gallon bag.
  • 3
    chicken breasts flattened
  • 1 8 oz can
    tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    each of garlic powder, italian seasoning, basil and 1 tblsp olive oil.
  • 1 Tbsp
    asiago, parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 bag
    racconto egg dumplings 12 oz.
  • 3 c
    this is apprx. use 1 part flour to 4 parts bread crumbs

How To Make parmesan chicken

    Flatten each breast to apprx 1/4 inch thick by placing in a large zip lock bag. I use my rolling pin and beat with one end until desired thickness.

    Place all breasts in a 1 gallon zip lock bag. Add the spices and enough oil to generously cover the breasts. Massage to combine and let set for 1 hour on the counter top.

    Mix flour and parmesan bread crumbs together. 1 part flour to 4 parts bread crumbs. Cut breasts into 2" strips and coat with flour/bread crumbs.

    In a large skillet, add enough oil to fry chicken strips until golden brown.

    In a small sauce pan combine tomato sauce and spices, oil and simmer. Add asiago & parmesan cheese just before serving.

    Bring 6 cups of water and 1 tsp salt to a boil in a medium sized pot. Add egg dumplings and cook according to directions.

    To serve place a portion of egg noodles and top generously with chicken breast strips, parmesan sauce and top with extra cheese.
