The silky noodles are a great contrast to the crunch of the peanuts. This authentic pad Thai recipe can easily be made vegetarian by using tofu instead of chicken. If you like your foods spicy just add more siracha sauce!

Ingredients For pad thai

  • 8 oz
    pad thai noodles
  • 2
    eggs
  • 3 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    sriracha
  • 2 Tbsp
    lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 3
    cooked chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 c
    fresh bean sprouts
  • 1 c
    cilantro
  • 3
    scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c
    chopped peanuts

How To Make pad thai

    Prepare noodles according to package instructions. Meanwhile, scramble eggs for about 2 minutes and set aside. In a small bowl, whisk soy sauce, sriracha, lime juice, canola oil, and brown sugar together. In a large skillet, combine noodles, chicken, and sauce. Top with bean sprouts, cilantro, scallions, and peanuts.
