orange glazed chicken wings
(5 ratings)
This is a great appetizer for any occasion and is super easy to make. The orange marmalade and lime juice are a tangy combo and the hot sauce is the surprise KICK! My family loved these and I hope you will too!
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Wow, these sweet and savory orange chicken wings do not disappoint. After marinating, they grill to perfection. The sauce has a very slight Asian feel and caramelizes on the wings making them sticky and sweet. We loved dipping the grilled chicken wings in the extra sauce for a punch of orange flavor. Perfect for any occasion, wing lovers will swoon over these.

How To Make orange glazed chicken wings
-
1Add all of the marinade ingredients to the blender and process till almost smooth.
-
2Pour marinade into a large Ziploc bag or bowl with a lid. Add chicken and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours but overnight is best!
-
3Mix together all ingredients for the STICKY ORANGE GLAZE. ***Reserve 1/3 cup of glaze for use as a dipping sauce.
-
4Preheat your grill on medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 20 min or until chicken is cooked through.
-
5Remove the chicken from the grill and put it on a foil-lined cookie sheet. Turn oven on low broil with rack lowered. Brush glaze over chicken wings.
-
6Put into the oven. WATCH carefully. This should take about 4 or 5 minutes depending on the broiler. Remove from oven when the glaze is bubbly and slightly turning color.
-
7Place on a large platter and serve with reserved "dipping" sauce and cut-up vegetables such as celery and carrots. Enjoy!
