Great served alongside rice and broccoli. Easy to make and bake, but don't forget to start early to allow for the 4-6 hour chicken marinade time.

Ingredients For orange basil marinated chicken

  • 4
    boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice
  • 1/4 c
    vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried basil leaves
  • 1/2 tsp
    grated orange peel
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper

How To Make orange basil marinated chicken

    Arrange chicken breasts in an ungreased non-metal baking dish. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients, pour over chicken. Cover with aluminum foil and set in the refrigerator to marinate for 4-6 hours.

    Heat oven to 375°. DO NOT UNCOVER THE CHICKEN.

    Bake at 375° for 35 minutes. Uncover, continue to bake 20-30 minutes, basting frequently, until chicken is tender and no longer pink.
