Ingredients For one-dish chicken & rice casserole

  • 3
    uncooked boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 c
    instant rice, like minute rice, uncooked
  • 2 c
    water
  • 1 1/2 c
    frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 can
    cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 Tbsp
    or 1 cube chicken bouillon, crumbled well
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/2 c
    cold butter, sliced into thin slices

How To Make one-dish chicken & rice casserole

    Preheat oven to 350 and spray a 9x13-inch casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

    Mix all ingredients, except butter, in a large bowl and mix.

    Pour into prepared casserole dish and top with butter slices. Bake 1 hour, uncovered.
