My entire family loves this dish, it's tasty, quick and versatile. Sometimes I add drained peas and carrots or whatever veggie I fancy at the moment.

Ingredients For off the chain chicken casserole

4- 6 lgchicken breast halves

1 cancream of mushroom soup, undiluted

8 oz pkgsour cream

8 oz pkgshredded cheddar cheese (i use sharp cheddar)

1 tspdried rosemary leaves

1-2bay leaves
-
1 tsponion powder
-
1 tspthyme, dried
-
1 Tbspgarlic powder
-
1 tsplemon pepper seasoning
-
1 tspdried oregano
-
1 tspsalt, or to taste
-
1 tspblack pepper
-
1 Tbspbutter
-
1 pkgfrench fried onions
How To Make off the chain chicken casserole

1Place chicken in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add rosemary, bay leaves, onion powder, garlic powder, lemon pepper, thyme, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until chicken is done and tender. Remove chicken and set aside to cool then, de-bone and shred or chop the meat.

2Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine soup, sour cream, 3/4 pkg shredded cheese (reserve some for top), and butter. Mix well and stir in the chicken meat. Spread mixture evenly into a greased casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese and french fried onions. Bake for 15-25 minutes until hot and bubbly. Serve and enjoy!
