This is delicious. You can use any meat or vegetables you want making this a unique recipe to your taste. I love the first bite once you break into that lucious egg yolk and it runs down into the dish. OMG I think I need to make this now.

Ingredients For my favorite bibimbap

  • RICE
  • 4 c
    steamed rice
  • 2 Tbsp
    furikake
  • MEAT
  • 1 lb
    ground chicken
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    oyster sauce
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 tsp
    toasted sesame oil
  • VEGETABLES
  • 1 c
    each spinach, bean sprouts, shiitake mushrooms sliced, diced cucumbers and carrots julienned
  • 2
    green onions chopped
  • SAUCE
  • 2 Tbsp
    gochujang
  • 1 tsp
    roasted sesame oil
  • 4 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    water
  • 2 tsp
    rice vinegar
  • 3 clove
    garlic minced
  • EGGS
  • 4 lg
    eggs cooked over easy or sunny side up
  • GARNISH
  • cilantro for garnish

How To Make my favorite bibimbap

  • 1
    For the rice. Steam the rice until tender and mix the furikake seasoning through the rice. Set aside.

    For the meat. Mix the meat with the soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar and garlic. Let marinate 30 minutes then cook the meat in the marinade until done. Set aside.

    Mix the ingredients for the sauce together whisking until well combined. Set aside.

    Fry the eggs leaving runny yolks.
  • 5
    To assemble place rice in bottom of bowl. Top with the meat then vegetables, then sauce, then top with the egg. Add some cilantro for garnish
