How To Make mushroom sauce

1IN A 9" SKILLET OVER MED. HEAT IN HOT BUTTER COOK THE SLICED MUSHROOMS UNTIL TENDER , ABOUT 5 MIN. , STIRRING OCCASIONALLY .

2STIR IN BEEF BROTH AND SALT AND HEAT THE MIXTURE TO BOILING.

3MEANWHILE IN A CUP MIX CORNSTARCH AND SAUTERNE UNTIL SMOOTH ; GRADUALLY STIR SAUTERNE MIXTURE INTO MUSHROOM MIXTURE AND COOK , STIRRING CONSTANTLY UNTIL THICKENED.

4SERVE MUSHROOM SAUCE HOT OVER BROILED BEEF STEAKS OR HAMBURGERS , CHICKEN , HOT COOKED GREEN BEANS OR PEA'S.
