Ingredients For mock stirfry

2 pkgfrozen stir fry vegetables
-
1 mdonion, sliced
-
2 lbboneless skinless chicken breast or boneless porkchops
-
3 cchicken broth
-
3 ccooked rice or noodles
-
1 pkgramen noodle seasoning packets (whichever is appropriate chicken or pork)

2 Tbspcornstarch (for thickening)
-
soy sauce
-
garlic powder
-
black pepper
How To Make mock stirfry

1Slice meat into strips. Add with onion to skillet & season with garlic powder, black pepper & soy sauce to taste. Be careful of the saltiness of the soy sauce. Sautee on low till meat is done & onion is tender.

2Remove meat & onion from pan, add 2 cups of broth & bring to a simmer, stirring to remove bits from bottom of pan.

3Whisk together contents of ramen seasoning packet, 1 cup of broth and cornstarch till smooth.

4Add cornstarch mixture to pan slowly stirring constantly till thickened to your liking.

5Steam veggies till crisp-tender. Fold meat & veggies into sauce mixture to coat. Serve on top of rice or noodles.
