How To Make marry me chicken
-
1Mix all-purpose flour, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning in a pie plate.
-
2Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, coating each side. Set aside. Discard leftover flour mixture.
-
3Heat 2 Tbsp butter and olive oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Once hot, place the floured chicken in the skillet.
-
4After 7-8 minutes, flip the chicken breasts. Cook for an additional 7-8 minutes. Remove the chicken breasts, place on a platter, and set aside.
-
5Add 4 Tbsp butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes or until soft, stirring often to prevent burning.
-
6Once the garlic is soft, add the sun-dried tomatoes and baby spinach. Stir often to prevent burning. Cook until the spinach is wilted.
-
7Once the spinach is wilted, slowly add the chicken broth and deglaze the skillet. Add remaining Italian seasoning, the crushed red pepper, and remaining salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
-
8Slowly stir in the heavy cream. Add 1 c freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Bring to a simmer.
-
9Once the sauce has come to a simmer and the cheese is melted, add the chicken breasts to the skillet. Simmer for 15 minutes until chicken is 165 degrees F.
-
10Cook the rotini pasta according to the package directions.
-
11Drizzle the sauce over the cooked pasta and serve with the chicken breast on the side. Top with remaining Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of minced parsley.
