How To Make marinaded, twice fried country fried chicken
-
1MARINADE:Mix 2c.milk, salt, pepper, mustard and poultry seasoning, mix will and put into a large ziploc bag with chicken. With a mallet carefully pound chicken, put in fridge over night, or at least for a couple of hours....INGREDIENTS FOR MARINADE IS ABOVE THE WORD MARINADE....SORRY IF I CONFUSED ANYONE
-
2FLOUR/EGG MIXTURE: in a medium bowl combine milk and eggs whisk together well. In a large bowl or large ziploc bag combine, flour, salt, pepper, paprike, garlic powder, and thyme. Shake and mix well.
-
3Take pounded, marinaded chicken out of Marinade and just pat off excess liquid with paper towel. Cut chicken in halves. Dip in flour mixture, then in egg mixture, then back into flour mixture, make sure that each piece is covered well, so i recommen doing one piece at a time.
-
4Heat 3 inches of crisco in Iron Skillet or regular skillet, on medium heat, place a few pieces of chicken in skillet at a time, cook just until chicken starts to ture light golden brown, then take out of skillet place on a plate with paper towel covering to soak up grease.
-
5While frying more pieces, take the half cooked pieces that you lightly browned and dip in egg mixture, then in flour mixture one more time, place on a plate until there is room to put them back into skillet and finish frying about 5-8 mins on each side, until medium golden brown and the meat is no longer pink. Do this for each piece of chicken you have

6I know this sounds like ALOT of trouble just to fry chicken, but take my family's word for it they will not eat fried chicken any other way now, and once you get your assembly line going it really is easy to do.....PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW YOU LIKE IT IF YOU DECIDE TO TRY IT
