Ingredients For madras chicken curry

2 Tbspghee or oil

1 cred onion chopped

6 clovegarlic

3 Tbspgrated ginger

28 ozcan crushed tomatoes

1 cheavy cream
-
2 Tbspmadras curry powder

1 Tbspgaram masala

1 tspsalt

1 Tbspbrown sugar

2boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into cubes

1 Tbsplemon juice

1/4 cfresh cilantro chopped

basmati rice and naan for serving
How To Make madras chicken curry

1In a large Dutch oven or skillet add the ghee or oil. Add the red onion, garlic and ginger. Saute for about 10 minutes until onions are soft.

2Add the Madras curry powder, Garam Masala, salt and brown sugar. Add the crushed tomatoes, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and add the chicken pieces.

3Simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in the lemon juice. Garnish with Cilantro. Serve with Basmati rice and naan
