Use Pork Sholder cut into med. size hunks or large pack of pork chops. I like using the country cut pork ribs.All they are is the Pork shoulder cut long ways. Save money cuting it your self. If you don't eat pork use chickin thighs.

Ingredients For ma ma's adobo

  • 2lbs of meat, pork or chicken, 1 large spniash onion, 1 large bell pepper, fresh ginger to taste, garlic to taste, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1/5 cup vinger,
  • 2 to 3 med. bay leaves

How To Make ma ma's adobo

  • 1
    cut pork meat in med. squares, if using whole chickin double cut it. Cut onion and bell pepper in long slices, Ginger slice thin about 4 good peices.

    Heat up large pot with cooking oil in botton on med.high, place meats in and coat with garlic and oil to taste, I use lots of garlic. Toss while frying galic into meat. turn heat down to med. then add rest of recipe. adD 1 cup of water place lid on and cook for to 2hr at med. LOW heat. You can thicken if wanted.With a little corn starch and cold water (1 cup) If you like it little tangy ad just a little more vinger. Just a LITTLE!!
