Ingredients For low-fat chicken & apple salad sandwiches

    chopped, cooked chicken breast
  • 1/3 c
    cored, chopped apple
  • 1 lg
    hard-boiled egg, peeled, finely chopped.
  • 2 Tbsp
    fat-free plain yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp
    light mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 8
    slices whole wheat bread
  • 4 lg
    lettuce leaves

How To Make low-fat chicken & apple salad sandwiches

    In medium bowl, stir together chicken, apple, and egg. Add yogurt and mayonnaise. Stir to combine. season w/ salt & pepper. At this point, you can either refrigerater fro 30 min, or spread chicken mix onto slices of bread, top w/ lettuce and then top w/ bread.
