Face it we all need to watch our weight from time to time. This is an excellent version of the traditional fattening Chicken Cordon Bleu. It is really delicious.

Ingredients For healthier chicken cordon bleu

1garlic clove crushed

2 Tbspbutter melted

1/3 cfat free chicken broth

1/2 cbread crumbs

2 Tbsppamigiano-reggiano cheese( parmesan chees)

1 tsppaprika
-
4boneless chicken breast halves
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
1/4 tsporegano
-
1/4 tspblack pepper
-
4thin slices of prosciutto ham
-
1/3-1/2 creduced fat part skim mozzarella cheese

How To Make healthier chicken cordon bleu

1Heat oven to 350 degree's Put broth in microwave and heat for 30 seconds.Stir in butter and garlic set aside

2Combine bread crumbs,Parm cheese,and paprika in medium bowl,and set aside.

3place a chicken breast 1 at a time in a gallon size ziploc bag or between to sheets of plastic wrap and pound with mallet un 1/4 inch thick.

4Sprinkle all sides of chicken with salt,pepper,and oregano.Top each breast with the Prosciutto ham,and a 1/4 of the Mozzarella cheese.Roll up chicken pieces like a jelly roll.

5Dip the rolled up chicken in the broth mixture.Dredge in bread crumb mixture. Pour remaining broth over chicken. bake for 30 minutes,or until done
