The smell while baking will even make neighbors hungry for it if they catch a whiff. It's heavenly tasting as well. Definitely became a favorite in my household of six.

Ingredients For lemon thyme garlic chicken

  • 4-6 md
    chicken breast halves bone in and skin on
  • 1 stick
    butter or margerine
  • 1 1/2 c
    flour, plain
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    paprika
  • SAUCE
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c
    salad oil
  • 1/2 c
    lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    minced onions
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp
    thyme, dried

How To Make lemon thyme garlic chicken

    Make sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients and shaking very well to blend.

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt butter on low heat and pour in 10X13 baking dish.

    Dip chicken in flour mixed with salt, pepper and paprika.

    Place chicken in melted butter turning to coat. Bake for 30 minutes with skin side down.

    Turn chicken and pour well shaken and blended sauce over top of all pieces. Cook for another 30 minutes or until no pink in middle.
