Well I flubbed the dubb when I posted this recipe to the wrong place on island flavor so I am reposting it in the place it should have been posted. Hey, I'm a newby with these other groups and old to boot! So thats my excuse!! I will be posting a couple more with the same situation so sorry.. anyway, this is a good recipe so enjoy!!

Ingredients For lemon chicken

4whole chicken breast

1/2 ccornstarch

1/2 tspsalt

1/8 tsppepper

1/4 cwater

4egg yolks. lightly beaten

lemon sauce:

1 1/2 cwater
-
1/2 clemon juice
-
3 1/2 Tbspbrown sugar
-
3 Tbspcornstarch
-
3 Tbsphoney
-
2 tspinstant chicken boullion
-
1 tspminced ginger
How To Make lemon chicken

1Pound chicken with mallot to flatten slightly.

2Combine cornstarch,salt, pepper in small bowl, gradually blend in water and egg yolks.

3Heat oil over high heat (375*). Dip chicken breast one at a time into cornstarch, egg batter. Cook until chicken is golden brown. Drain on paper towel.

4LEMON SAUCE: Mix cornstarch with water in saucepan and stir till smooth then add the lemon juice,brown sugar, honey chicken boullion and minced ginger.

5Place on stove and boil till it thickens. Remove from stove.

6Place fried chicken pieces on a platter and pour lemon sauce over all and serve while hot.
