1/4 tspworcestershire sauce

1 tspgrated lemon zest

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspdry mustard or more to taste

1/2 tspdried thyme or oregano

1/3 cfresh lemon juice

1/3 colive oil or canola oil

1green onion, with green top chopped and included

4chicken breast halves
-
fresh thyme sprigs (optional)

lemon wedges (optional)
How To Make lemon barbecued chicken, diabetic

1Mix the Worcestershire sauce, lemon zest, salt, dry mustard, and thyme or oregano in a small bowl. Gradually stir in the lemon juice, followed by the oil and chopped green onions.

2Brush the mixture over the chicken pieces. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. When ready prepare a charcoal or gas grill.

3Remove the chicken from the marinade and place skin side down on the grill. (Set 3 to 6 inches from charcoal that has reached the light gray ash stage).

4Cook 30 minutes
