Ingredients For lavangi- ajerbaijani stuffed chicken

1chicken, whole

1 cwalnuts

2peaches or plums

1onion (about 1 cup)

salt and pepper

1-2 Tbspolive oil
How To Make lavangi- ajerbaijani stuffed chicken

1Wash your bird and remove any gizzards.

2Pulse the walnuts in a food processor. You don't want a walnut flour, but you don't want large chunks. Remove to a bowl.

3Rough chop the onion and peaches (or plums) and pulse in the food processor.

4Add the walnuts and pulse a quick once or twice- just to combine. Stuff into the bird's cavity.

5Sprinkle salt, pepper & olive oil on the exterior of the bird, and bake for about 1 1/2 hours or until the bird is done.

6Cut the bird into pieces and serve with the stuffing on the side and a green salad.
