Decades ago I had a great recipe for chicken and peaches then somehow lost it. Remembering how much my family loved it I had to come up with a new one. This recipe has been tested by my loving family and it passes as being as good as the one I lost!

Ingredients For kitty's baked chicken and peaches

2boneless skinless chicken breasts

1/4 cbrown sugar, divided

1large fresh peach (sliced)

1/8 tspground cloves

2 Tbsplemon juice

2 Tbspwhole walnuts

1 tspcorn starch
How To Make kitty's baked chicken and peaches

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2Lightly grease a covered casserole dish

3Place chicken breasts in the prepared dish and sprinkle with 1/2 of the brown sugar. Top with peach slices

4In a small bowl, break walnuts into large pieces using your fingers

5Add brown sugar, spices and lemon juice to the walnuts and mix well, then pour mixture over chicken and peaches

6Cover and bake 30 minutes

7Using a slotted spoon plate the chicken, peaches, and most of the walnuts. Cover with foil to keep warm while making the sauce

8Pour drippings into a small sauce pan, add 1 tsp. of corn starch and whisk constantly over medium-high heat.

9Cook until slightly thickened then pour over plated chicken and peaches and serve
