I love chicken slow cooked shreds. So I started off with chicken in a crockpot, and took some italian pantry ingredients, toasted some garlic rolls, Then we enjoyed these hoagies. Now thats italian!!!

Ingredients For italian pulled chicken hoagies

8chicken thighs, skinless and boneless
-
1 1/2 cburgundy wine

18 ozjar marinara
-
3/4 cchopped onion
-
1/2 cgreen pepper
-
1chopped garlic clove
-
1 Tbspadobo powder
-
s&p
-
16 ozpkg sliced mushrooms (optional)
- GARLIC ROLLS
-
any size rolls
-
butter
-
italian seasonings or herbes de provance
-
garlic powder
How To Make italian pulled chicken hoagies

1S&P chicken thighs both sides. Place on bottom of crockpot.

2Combine rest of ingredients in bowl and whisk. Pour over chicken. Making sure chicken just covered (may have to add or subtract some sauce) Cover and set on low for 7-8 hrs. Shredd chicken with forks. Will shred easily.

3Spread rolls with butter. Sprinkle with garlic powder and italian seasonings and toast in oven for a min.

4Spread chicken mix on each roll and top with parm and enjoy!
