I think you could use this chicken in so many ways. Sandwiches, with pasta, or as a base for whatever dream up!

Ingredients For italian chicken

  • chicken thighs, skinless and boneless, or breasts
  • 1 Tbsp
    kosher salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    granulated garlic, heaping
  • 1 Tbsp
    mccormick italian seasoning, heaping
  • water
  • olive oil, extra virgin
  • cheese of choice, i used mozzerella

How To Make italian chicken

    Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2
    In a gallon size ziplock bag, add chicken, seasonings, & water. Seal & mix well. Put in refrigerator to marinate. ( I left mine in overnight, but at least a few hours)

    Drain liquid from chicken & pat dry.

    Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add oil.
  • 5
    When oil shimmers, working in batches (do not crowd) add chicken to pan, cook 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.

    Top chicken with cheese & put in oven until cheese melts. (Approx. 7-8 minutes)
