This is a great alternative to your usual chicken casserole. A favorite at my parent's house growing up - my dad loved this recipe!

Ingredients For hot crunch chicken

  • 5 c
    diced cooked chicken
  • 5 c
    celery, chopped
  • 1 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 box
    croutons, divided
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp
    onion, chopped
  • 1 jar
    chopped pimento (small jar)
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 1 /4 c
    chopped almonds
  • 5 Tbsp
    lemon juice concentrate
  • grated cheddar cheese

How To Make hot crunch chicken

  • 1
    Combine all the ingredients except 1/2 box of croutons and grated cheese. Pour into a buttered 9x13" pan. Top with grated cheese and croutons. Bake, uncovered, at 400 for 15 minutes. Serves 10.
