    almonds, slivered
  • 3 c
    cubed cooked chicken
  • 1 c
    sliced celery
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 c
    green onions, chopped
  • 3
    hard-cooked eggs,chopped
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 c
    slightly crushed potato chips

How To Make hot chicken salad casserole

    Preheat oven to 350*F.Spray a 1 1/2-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

    Place the almonds on an ungreased baking sheet.Bake,stirring occasionally,until toasted and golden,8-12 miuntes.Remove from oven and allow to cool.

    Meanwhile,combine the chicken,celery,cheese,onions and eggs in a medium bowl.Add the toasted almonds.Mix well.

    Combine the mayonnaise,lemon juice,salt and pepper in a small bowl.Stir until well blended.Add to chicken mixture and mix well.
