Ingredients For honey balsamic chicken thighs

  • CHICKEN
  • 4
    bone in chicken thighs
  • 1 tsp
    olive oil
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    paprika
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • HONEY BALSAMIC SAUCE
  • 4 Tbsp
    each honey, balsamic vinegar and ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced garlic

How To Make honey balsamic chicken thighs

    Mix the olive oil, salt, paprika, onion powder and pepper together in a large bowl. Add the chicken and rub the chicken with the mixture.

    Mix the sauce ingredients together and pour half of the sauce over the chicken. Put the remaining sauce in the fridge. Massage the chicken with the marinade and place covered in the fridge and let marinate overnight.

    Preheat oven at 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil. Place a grate over the foil. Place the chicken on the grate. Place in oven.

    Take the remaining sauce and place in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer and simmer until reduced and thickened. about 10 minutes.

    Brush the thickened sauce on the chicken while it bakes. Turning and brushing with more sauce. Bake for about 45 minutes
