i had put this recipe in a little earlier but i just gave half of the recipe i am sorry to have done that so here is the whole recipe

Ingredients For homemade amish chicken pot pie

1 1/2 cflour
-
1 lgegg
-
1/2 conion, chopped

3/4 cpeas
-
3/4 cmilk

1 tspsalt

3 cchicken broth, (or enough to cover chicken in pot)

3 cchicken breasts, cooked and cubed

2 mdcarrots and celery stalks, diced

1/2 tspparsley and pepper
How To Make homemade amish chicken pot pie

1FOR SOUP BASE: use a 5 quart pot and add chicken cubes, diced carrots, celery, onions and peas.

2cover with chicken broth and add parsley, salt and pepper to taste.

3simmer on medium low until vegetables are tender.

4FOR NOODLES: combine egg, remaining salt, milk and flour, mix well. if dough is to sticky just add a little more water.

5roll dough out on floured covered area to about 1/4 to1/8 inch thick. cut dough into 11/2 inch squares to make noodles.

6slowly put squares into the already made soup mixture and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat until noodles are done. serve warm.
