Ingredients For homemade alfredo sauce

12 ozfettuccine noodles

3/4 cbutter
-
1 cwhipping cream

1/4 tsppepper
-
1 1/4 cgrated parmesan cheese

2 tspparsley (optional)

1/4 tspnutmeg (optional)

1-2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
How To Make homemade alfredo sauce

1Cook fettuccine noodle to desired doness, drain and cover to keep warm.

2Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat. Stir in cream and pepper. Cook about 5 minutes or till mixture thickens a little, stirring occasionaly

3Stir in Parmesan cheese, cook over low heat till melted, stirring constantly. Immediately stir in noodle, toss to coat, Stir in parsley and nutmeg if desired. This would be where you would stir in the chicken if you wish. You can also add some cooked brocoli florets as well. Up to you.
