This recipe is from Sam Choy and is great for potlucks. It goes well with stir-fried vegetables and steamed rice, or cut julienned style into strips and tossed with mixed greens and salad dressing.

Ingredients For hibachi chicken breast

  • 6
    chicken breasts
  • MARINADE:
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 c
    shoyu
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    ginger, minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    chinese parsley, inced
  • 1/8 tsp
    white pepper

How To Make hibachi chicken breast

    Prepare and light coals in hibachi.
  • 2
    Blend marinade ingredients thoroughly and marinate chicken breasts for 30 minutes.

    Grill over coals, turning every 2-3 minutes, for a total cooking time of 8-10 minutes. If you prefer, you may pan fry the chicken breast, or broil them in the oven. The cooking times are the same.
