I thought of this recipe on the fly. If my wife didn't mind it, I would have loved to add avocado and pineapple to this delicious recipe. Feel free to add those to it and let me know how it comes out. If you don't want ranch on it, try mayo instead. I tried both and liked the ranch better.

Ingredients For hawaiian roll swiss chicken sandwiches

  • 4 lb
    boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1
    package of king's hawaiian rolls or buns
  • 2
    sliced red tomatoes
  • ranch dressing
  • progresso garlic and herb bread crumbs
  • 2
    eggs
  • 8 slice
    swiss cheese

How To Make hawaiian roll swiss chicken sandwiches

    Open package of raw chicken breasts, cut small enough for buns.

    In a bowl, pour bread crumbs and crack two eggs into it and stir well. Dip the chicken breasts into bread crumbs and cover thoroughly.

    Preheat oven for 375 degrees fahrenheit. Place crumb dipped chicken in oven pan or glass casserole dish.

    Put chicken in oven for 55 minutes to 65 minutes. Cut chicken open to make sure it is done all the way through before removing.

    Slice tomatoes and use one slice per bun, place ranch dressing on the other side. Add a slice of swiss cheese and then chicken breast. And you are ready to serve!
