This marinade is probably my favorite of any of the Asian sauces my husband invented. Just so delicious!

Ingredients For hawaiian chicken kabobs

  • 3 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 3 tsp
    pineapple juice
  • 5 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    molasses
  • 1 tsp
    ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp
    sherry
  • 1 Tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 1 tsp
    ginger, fresh
  • 1 tsp
    garlic, minced
  • 2 lg
    chicken breasts, skinless, boneless, cut into 2" chunks
  • 1 - 20 oz
    can pineapple chunks, drained, reserving 3 tbsp for marinade
  • 1
    pepper, green or red cut into 2" chunks

How To Make hawaiian chicken kabobs

    In a ziplock, mix the first 9 ingredients.

    Add the chicken & pineapple into the marinade. Mix until well coated. Let marinate in the fridge at least 2 hours.

    Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

    Lightly oil the grill grate. Thread chicken, pineapple & peppers alternately onto skewers.

    Grill 15-20 mins, turning occasionally, or until chicken juices run clear.
