Tired of the same ol' fried chicken, I thought I'd change it up a bit and go Italian. I served it with a Parmesan and Roasted Garlic Alfredo sauce served over pasta. It was a big hit ! Sooo good !

4chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

1 cbread crumbs, dry

1 Tbspitalian seasoning

1 tspsalt

1/4 tspblack pepper

1/2 tspcrushed red pepper

1/2 tspgarlic powder
-
1/2 tsponion powder
-
1 Tbspdried parsley
-
a little less than a 1/4 inch of olive oil to fry in.
- FLOUR AND EGG WASH
-
1/2 cflour
-
1 lgegg
-
1 Tbspwater
How To Make fried chicken, italian style, millie's

1Place chicken in a bag and pound it, so that the thickness is even. (about 1/4 inch thick or so)

2In a shallow bowl (I like to use a pie plate) add the bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder and crushed red pepper. Mix well

3Put flour in another shallow bowl or plate. Next beat egg with the water in yet another shallow dish. Line them up, flour, egg wash then bread crumb mixture.

4Add oil to skillet. Dip chicken in the flour, then egg wash and finally the bread crumbs.

5If oil is hot, place chicken in skillet and fry for about 5 minutes each side or till completely cooked through. Drain on a rack or on a paper towel.
