Ingredients For french style creamy chicken & veggies

  • 6
    bone in chicken thighs
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 lg
    onion chopped
  • 1 lg
    carrot thinly sliced
  • 8 oz
    mushrooms sliced
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1/2 c
    white wine
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 2 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tsp
    fresh thyme chopped

How To Make french style creamy chicken & veggies

    Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Place the oil in a large skillet. Get the oil hot and add the chicken and brown well on both sides. Remove the chicken and set aside.

    Place the butter in the skillet. Add the onion, and garlic and saute about 3 minutes. Add the carrot and mushrooms.Cook 5 minutes then add the wine and let most evaporate scrapping up the bits from the bottom of pan.

    Stir in the flour. Add the chicken stock and heavy cream. Add the chicken back to the skillet. Let cook until the chicken is no longer pink. Stir in the parsley and thyme.
