How To Make frances' colorful chicken linguini
-
1Bring frozen chopped broccoli to room temperature. Cook and then shred chicken breasts into bite size pieces. Boil pasta.
-
2Saute onions, peppers, and mushrooms in olive oil over medium heat until tender. Add Chicken and broccoli and cook just to heat the broccoli through. If it cooks too long it will be limp and soggy.
-
3Remove from heat and toss in parmesan cheese. Add small amount of soy sauce for flavor and mix. Toss with cooked linguini and serve.
-
4The flavor of the soy sauce in this dish is amazing. I was skeptical at first but after having it at my mother-in-law's I made it without the soy and it wasn't nearly as good. You could also set the soy out as a seasoning for your family to sprinkle on top and mix in to their liking. I highly recommend trying it, it really makes the dish.
