Ingredients For filipino chicken adobo
- CHICKEN AND MARINADE

4 lgbone in chicken thighs

8 clovegarlic minced

1/3 csoy sauce and white vinegar

3bay leaves
- FOR THE COOKING

2 Tbspoil

1 smonion chopped

1 1/2 cwater

3 Tbspbrown sugar

2 tspcoarse black pepper

How To Make filipino chicken adobo

1Mix the soy sauce, vinegar, garlic and bay leaves together. Add the chicken and let marinate overnight.

2Add the oil to a large skillet. Remove the chicken from the marinade and reserve the marinade. Brown the chicken on both sides for about 5 minutes each side. Remove from pan and set aside. Add the onion to the skillet and cook until softened.

3Add the water, brown sugar, black pepper and marinade to the pan and bring to a boil. Add the chicken back to the pan and let cook until the sauce is reduced and thicken like a glaze. Remove the bay leaves and discard

4Serve the chicken with the sauce and garnish with green onions,
