So easy and delicious. I like the tartar sauce with the fish and seafood. I like salsa with the chicken and beef. Use your own ideas and have fun.

Ingredients For easy meat cakes

  • 1 lb
    cooked meat (see suggestions below)
  • 8
    ritz or saltine crackers
  • 1 md
    egg
  • 1 Tbsp
    mustard (spicy or your choice)
  • 1 Tbsp
    plain yogurt or mayonnaise
  • 1 pinch
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch
    salt (or more)
  • 1 pinch
    black pepper (or more)
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil

How To Make easy meat cakes

    NOTE: Use crabmeat, tuna, chicken, salmon, beef - your choice for the meat. Make sure meat is pre-cooked and flaked or shredded small. Mix all ingredients except the oil. Heat a skillet on medium heat and add olive oil. Form the mixture into small patties -about 5 to 6. Place the patties in the heated skillet and cook about 3 or 4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve with ketchup, tartar sauce, salsa, etc. Double or triple recipe if needed.
