I often make this dish for potlucks and always come home with an empty dish. It is economical and easy to make. Not only that, but it is delicious and will have everybody asking you for the recipe

Ingredients For easy jambalaya

1 lgonion, diced

2 mdgreen peppers, chopped

2 Tbspvegetable oil

3chicken breats, cooked and chopped

216 oz packages hillshire farm or louis rich sausage (kielbasa, turkey, or chicken)

2 cancampbells french onion soup
-
1 canchicken broth
-
1 canbeef broth
-
3 cuncooked long grain white rice
-
4-5 tspcreole seasoning
-
1-2 cfrozen or fresh shrimp (optional)

1/2 cfresh cilantro (optional)
How To Make easy jambalaya

1In a large dutch oven, saute onion and green pepper in oil over medium heat until limp.

2slice or dice sausage and add to onion and green pepper. Cook for 1 minute. Add the creole seasoning, soups, chicken, and uncooked rice. Cover and simmer until rice is cooked and liquid is evaporated, about 20 minutes.

3If desired add shrimp and heat through until pink in color. May garnish with cilantro
