A very easy, yet tasty version of Asian linguine chicken I made up one night when hungry for Asian food, but wanted it quick, lol.

Ingredients For easy asian linguine w/ chicken

  • 1 lb
    dry linguine
  • 3 Tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 1-1/2 lb
    bonless, skinlees chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 1 lb
    fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 3/4 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1/3 c
    hoisin sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
    light soy sauce
  • 6
    scallions, sliced diagonally

How To Make easy asian linguine w/ chicken

    In lg pot, cook pasta as directed, drain, set aside. In same pot, heat oil over medium heat. Add chicken and cook, stirring, until no longer pink, about 8 mins.

    Add mushrooms, garlic, ginger and cayenne pepper. Cook 5 mins, stirring often. Add hoisin sauce and soy sauce. Return pasta to pot.

    Toss until well coated, cook until heated through. Add scallions and mix.
