i was talkin to my sis on the phone,when she gave me part of this recipe... i changed the other part to our likin and came up with these.... so good

Ingredients For diane's way to make egg rolls

  • 1 lb
    meat or fish[chicken tenders,pork sausage,shrimp,catfish nuggets,lean groubd beef]
  • 1 pkg
    [12 oz] broccoli flowerettes
  • 1 pkg
    [10 oz] matchstick carrots
  • 1 bunch
    green onions
  • 1 pkg
    egg roll wrappers
  • SAUCE
  • 1/2 c
    light soy sauce
  • 1/4 c
    garlicy teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    red pepper flakes

How To Make diane's way to make egg rolls

    do veggies in several batches.... put 1 green onion,a handful of broccoli and carrots in food processor pulse several times to break up[jus don't liquify]...pour into lg bowl do the rest of the veggies cover put in fridge til u need them

    cook meat u are using[except shrimp do them after veggies are done]when meat is cooked add veggies cook and stir non stop foe 5-7 min[so veggies cook evenly] turn off set aside

    make sauce.pour all in sm bowl whisk together well add to meat /veggies mix stir well cover put in fridge to cool so u can handle with yur hands[bout 15-20 min]

    pre heat oven to 400 spray cookie sheet with non stick spray [use 2 if sm]

    asembly of egg rolls: remove 1 wrapper at a time from package sit in dimoand shape in front of u put 2 teaspoons of meat veggie fillin in it in a line bring point in front of u to center fold each side in then roll up place a cookie sheet seam side down keep doin this til all filled[i had 18 in pkg] all meat/veggies should be used up

    now take clean paper towel and dab into veggie oil lightly brush oil onto each roll put cookie sheet in oven cook 10-12 min remove from oven let sit 10-12 min before servin[when they first come outof the oven they will look kinda soggy...let rest and they crisp up]
