Found this recipe many years ago on the internet. It is reputed to be a celebration of farmers along the Eastern Shore at harvest time. It is wonderfully easy and oh, so tasty.

Ingredients For devilish chicken and corn on the cob

1whole chicken, cut up

6 Tbspbutter, melted

2 Tbspdijon mustard

2 Tbspcider vinegar

1 tspdried thyme
-
1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspcayenne pepper

4ears corn
-
1/4 cdried breadcrumbs
How To Make devilish chicken and corn on the cob

1Pre-heat oven to 400F
-
2In bowl, stir together melted butter, mustard, vinegar, thyyme, salt and cayenne pepper.

3Brush corn and chicken thoroughly with the butter mixture.

4Arrange chicken in one layer in a baking dish. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Leave uncovered. Set corn in another baking dish, cover with aluminum foil. Bake both one hour.
