1/4 cbell pepper, chopped

1/4 conion, chopped

1 can14 1/2-ounce diced tomatoes with juice

1/2 cfully cooked sausage, chopped

1 tspparsley flakes

1/4 tspsalt

1/4 tspthyme leaves, dried

1/4 tspcajun seasoning

1/8 tspred pepper

6 ozuncooked deveined, peeled shrimp, thaw if frozen

1 crice, cooked and hot

1In 2 1/2- to 3 1/2-quart slow cooker, mix all ingredients except shrimp and rice.

2Cover and cook on low heat setting 7 to 8 hours or until vegetables are tender.

3Stir in shrimp. Cover and cook on low heat setting about 30 minutes or until shrimp are pink and firm. Serve over rice. Also, serve with a salad and some crusty bread.
