Ingredients For crockpot chicken & dressing

1whole chicken
-
stock from the chicken
-
8 inchskillet of cornbread
-
8 sliceloaf bread, toasted and cubed

1 1/2 tspsage, dried

1/4 tsppepper
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
2 cancream of chicken soup
-
1 canchicken broth
-
1onion, finely chopped
-
1/4 tspcelery seed
-
3eggs, well beaten
How To Make crockpot chicken & dressing

1The night before----cook a whole chicken in the crockpot on low temperature all night.

2In the morning remove the chicken and leave stock in your crockpot. Cool chicken and debone pieces. Sit aside.

3Add all the rest of the ingredients to the stock in the crockpot. I usually taste test for the sage before adding the eggs. Place boned chicken pieces on top of the dressing. Cook in the crockpot on high temperature for 3 1/2 hours.
