When the weather is cooler, this Crock Pot chicken and gravy must be on the menu. It's simple and budget-friendly. The slow cooker does all the work. Once the cooked chicken breasts are shredded, they soak up the thick and yummy gravy. We served this over mashed potatoes and a veggie. We felt the gravy packets added a rich flavor and that this recipe didn't need extra seasoning, but garlic or onion powder are options to add. An easy slow cooker meal.

Ingredients For crock pot chicken and gravy

1 lbboneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 pkgdry chicken gravy mix (.87 oz each)

1 cancream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)

1 3/4 cwater

1/4 tsppepper
How To Make crock pot chicken and gravy

1Empty gravy packs into your Crock Pot. Add pepper, cream of chicken soup, and water. Whisk until well blended.

2Add chicken breasts.

3Cook on low for 6 hours or until chicken is able to be shredded.

4Remove breasts and shred.

5Return shredded chicken to Crock Pot and cook an additional 1/2 - 1 hour.
