Ingredients For crispy lemon chicken

  • 4 tbsp. melted butter
  • 3 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp. dry sherry
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 t. chopped parsley
  • 1 chicken, halved (2 1/2 to 3 lbs.)
  • 2 t. natural meat tenderizer, unseasoned
  • pepper to taste

How To Make crispy lemon chicken

    In small bowl, mix first 5 ingredients. Mix well. Set aside
  • 2
    Moisten chicken with water; sprinkle evenly with tenderizer. Use no salt. Pierce chicken deeply with fork; Repeat on all sides. Season with pepper.

    . Place chicken skin side down on broiler pan. Broil 5 to 6 inches from heat, basting frequently about 20 minutes per side or until done. Serves 4 Source: My Old Recipes
