2 ccrushed butter crackers

1 tspsalt

1/2 tspblack pepper

4 lgboneless skinless chicken breasts

1/2 ccold butter, cubed
How To Make crispy cracker butter chicken

1Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.

2In a shallow bowl, place the 2 beaten eggs. In another shallow bowl, combine the crushed crackers, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.

3Dredge a chicken breast in the beaten egg.

4Then, dredge the chicken in the cracker mixture.

5Place in the prepared baking pan. Repeat with the other three chicken breasts.

6Place the cubed butter evenly over the chicken breasts.

7Bake in a preheated oven for 40 minutes or until the thickest part of the chicken breast reads 165 degrees with a meat thermometer.

8To brown the top of the chicken, turn the oven broiler on for the last 5 minutes keeping an eye on the chicken to ensure it does not burn.
